Noah's Gymnastics Class

This week was Noah's first day of gymnastics class and he absolutely loved it. I was a little nervous at first because during his trial class he did not wait in the lines and he refused to follow directions. However, during his actual class he did very well and the teacher even complimented him when it was all over. Sorry the pictures below are not very good ( I took them with my phone) but I promise to video him very soon so everyone can see my little gymnast at work!!!

The block pit and the trampolene are his favorites.
The bear crawl. He was actually growling while he did it!

Girl Gourmet

For Christmas, Emma Grace got a Cupcake Maker from her little brother. She was so excited and couldn't wait to get started! She had so much fun and it even tasted good when we were all finished.

Happy New Year (a little late)!

On New Year's Eve, we got together with some friends and rang in the new year! We had a great time and we even made it to midnight, which was quite an accomplishment for me. God has really blessed us here in Tennessee with great friends, a wonderful community and a supportive church family! I am excited to see what 2009 holds for us!

Sorry for the absence!

I know that I have been missing from the blogging community for quite sometime now but I have a good excuse!!!!
As most of you know, Emma Grace had an emergency appendectomy on January 4th. Between about a week in the hospital and then a rash from the medication we have been crazy around here. We are now back in the swing of things and ready to return to our regular routine. Thank you for all the help, prayers and gifts that we received. We couldn't have made it through with out all of the support!

P.S. I am still working on thank you notes so don't think I forgot any of you!

ICE

Right before we left for my parents house for Christmas, my cousin Angela and her family stopped by on their way to Canada. We had a great time! It was so nice to have them here and we REALLY enjoyed their family. Our highlight event was attending the ICE at Opryland. It was so much fun and the kids had an amazing time! Thank you Angela, Fred, Cade and Cole! We can't wait for you to come back.

Noah and Emma Grace

I couldn't get this picture to turn but I wanted to add it anyway. We were trying to take a quick picture of Cade and Emma Grace but Cade would not smile. He just had a disturbed look on his face. Finally we realized that his pants had fallen down and he was sitting on the ice in just his underwear. It was so funny and we felt awful!
