Family Fun Night

On the Tuesday night before Thanksgiving, our family decided to treat ourselves to a night out. Usually we are traveling on this day but this year we stayed home so we took advantage of it and spent the time bonding as a family (which is what we usually do in our long car rides). We had so much fun!!! We started with dinner at Chuys and then went over to Franklin Family Fun to bowl a couple of games. It was an awesome way to start our Thanksgiving in Tennessee!!!

On the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, I had the great pleasure of ging with Emma Grace's class to Belle Meade. I had a great time with Emma Grace and feel blessed that I am able to be so invovled at her school!

Emma Grace has had a great season this fall in soccer. It took her a little time to get use to her new team, but after a few games she was back to being a rockstar! We are so proud of her and can't wait to watch her improve and grow every year!!!

Noah's Birthday!!!!

This past Friday was Noah's 4th Birthday and on Sunday we had a party for him at Pump It Up! It was so much fun and we loved watching Noah enjoy being the Birthday boy! He enjoyed it so much that he told me today that he didn't want to memorize his verse because, "He was the Birthday Boy!" Smart Kid!!!!

Halloween Fun!!!!

I may be a Texas Girl at heart but I love Middle Tennessee at Halloween time! Our family loves to go to the Pumpkin Fest in downtown Franklin. We always see all of our friends and sometimes even a few celebrities. God has truly blessed us with this move and I can officially say after 3 and a half years that Middle Tennessee is the second best place to live (Texas obviously is the first)!!!!

As always, Autumn at Oaklawn, turned out to be one of our favorite Fall events. The food was great, the surroundings were beautiful and the fellowship was priceless!!! We are really blessed to have such a great church home and this beautiful plantation to get together and appreciated Gods Glory!!!!

Trouble!

Little Answers

I just wanted to take a second to write how much I feel that God has blessed me lately with little answers. I know he is getting tired of telling me the same thing over and over but I am so thankful that he will never give up on me. Things have been really fuzzy lately in a lot of areas of my life but the cool thing is that I have heard Gods voice or felt his presence every step of the way. Faith has never been a problem for me but now I have an even stronger faith that God is directing our path. The scary part is that it isn't always leading where I want it to but the great part is that it is leading me exactly where God wants it to! I am more scared to not be in his will than I am of not getting what I want. Hopefully, I will have a lot more to share in the future as the path becomes clearer but for now I just ask for prayers. God knows what we need and desire and I just wanted our friends and family to help us on our journey! Thanks for the help!!!

Sports Day

On Thursday, Emma Grace wore her soccer uniform to school. She begged me to paint black lines under her eyes, even though I told her that was more of a football thing. She didn't care and was absolutely happy with her look!

Crazy Day

Wednesday is CRAZY DAY!!

We put her shirt on backwards (which she absolutely cringed at, it went against all her fashion rules to do that), dance gloves, a dance skirt over jeans, her jeans rolled up at two different levels (again very hard for her), two different colored socks, two different tennis shoes and a boa feather in her hair. When she was all done Noah ran in and begged me to make him crazy too!

Pajama Day

Today was Pajama Day and I think it was her favorite!!!

This week is Spirit Week at school and Emma Grace is so excited. Every day there is a different theme and today was Crazy Hat Day.

Growing Way Too Fast

These two are growing up way too fast!!! Every time I turn around they seem to change right before my eyes. Don't get me wrong, I love all the new questions, concerns and adventures but I am just really going to miss the ones we are leaving behind. What a blessing each one of them are and I don't want to miss a minute of it!!!

Barnyard Birthday Party

On Saturday we went to our friends, The Harrises, house to help them celebrate their daughters 4th birthday! It was an awesome party and the kids had a fabulous time!!!
