I should be cleaning, but I am not!

I copied some of Pioneer Woman's awesome tips on photoshop and changed up a few of my favorite shots. I am by no means an expert but I did have fun!!!!

In this one I added a frame and played with the flash color. I wanted to lighten up Brandon's face a little because of the shadow from his hat.
I still think the originals are the best but thank you Pioneer Woman for giving me some fun tips. Next time I will hopefully try something a little more drastic!

Stephanie's Baby Shower

This weekend I had the great pleasure of hosting a baby shower for my friend Stephanie. Lori, Angel and Rachel came to my aide and the four of us put together an elegant and beautiful shower. I sure hope Stephanie had as much fun at the shower as we did putting it together!

Noah decided to crash the party.

On a side note... THANK YOU Angel and Lori!!!
I am so blesssed to have the two of you in my life.

Emma Grace's Dance Recital Pictures

Today Emma Grace took her first Dance Recital pictures. She was so excited and wanted to make sure that she sparkled in the picture. I didn't realize that a 4 year old could actually stress over a photo session! In the end we had so much fun and only had one disappointment. Emma Grace thought the actual recital was today but it isn't until June 21st. I have a feeling I am going to hear, "Is it June 21st yet?" a lot between now and then.

Flashback Friday: Easter!

These are some of my favorite Easter Pictures. The first two are from 2007. The one of them together is from 2006 and the last one is 18 month old Emma Grace in 2005.

This one of Emma Grace is one of my favorites!
Noah is cracking me up in this one.

Emma Grace's class Easter Party

Today Noah, Brandon and I went to Emma Grace's class Easter Party. It was so much fun. They started out with all the children playing at the park. Then it was a mad dash to find the eggs that were hidden in a nearby grassy area. After that they spent some time going over the jellybean prayer (the story of Christ's resurrection) and then we ate a fabulous lunch. All in all it was a terrific party!!!!

Soaking up the Sun

It was so nice out yesterday!! Which was strange since we just built a snowman on Saturday and it was only Monday. Anyway, the kids had so much fun and soaked up as much sun as they possibly could. Here are a few pictures of them lounging and relaxing!

Snow Day Fun!

This morning when we looked outside our window there was snow everywhere!!!! The kids immediately asked to go outside and play. So, after we bundled them up and ate a good breakfast, we headed outside to play in the snow. Here our some shots of all the fun we had!

Is breakfast over yet?
Power wheels in the snow--always a great idea!

Flashback Friday: Prague and London

When I was about seven weeks pregnant with Noah, Brandon and I went to Prague and London. Brandon was getting his MBA at the time and needed to take an international course to complete it. Thankfully, my parents jumped at the chance to keep Emma Grace while we spent ten days in Prague and three in London. It was a WONDERFUL trip but I was more than ready to get home to see our sweet little girl!
You can't tell but I spent most of this trip very sick with morning/all day sickness.
A few of the days were EXTREMELY cold!!!
Yes, we did find the only restaurant in London that flew an Aggie Flag!!!

All of these couples had one spouse in Brandon's MBA program.
